Webster City is well served by 24 hour emergency services, as well as inpatient and outpatient facilities that provide a full spectrum of care.


Emergency Services

Van Diest Medical Center, formerly known as Hamilton Hospital,  is the community's new state of the art $35 million dollar hospital that opened in September of 2010.  The hospital is a critical access hospital with 25 patient beds, 225 employees, ambulance services, pharmacy and a broad range of departments that provide inpatient and outpatient medical care.  Van Diest Medical Center also provides corporate health services.

Corporate Health Services

Van Diest Medical Center can provide area employers with assistance in hiring and maintaining a healthy workforce.  Van Diest Medical Center offers comprehensive corporate health services from laboratory screening to employee health services and from injury prevention to first aid training.   Van Diest Medical Center corporate health services are supported by a Federal CLIA certified laboratory and certified occupational health nurse.  More information on corporate health services can be found here.

General Medicine

General medical care is available through five area providers: McFarland Clinic,Van Diest Family Health ClinicTrimark Physicians Group, Advanced Family Medicine (Woodhouse Clinic) and the Family Practice Clinic.
There are three local providers of Chiropractic Care: North Central Chiropractic, Tindall Chiropractic and O'Hearn Family Chiropractic.
Wolfe Family Vision Center is the local provider for eye exams, glasses and contacts, and surgical consultations.
Dental services are provided locally by: Dr. Gregory Maharry, Dr.  Kellee  Shey, and Dr. Duane Smith.  Dr. Cassaidy and Drs. Shelly and Shelly specialize in orthodontic care. 


Two pharmacies serve Webster City: HyVee Pharmacy and Thrifty White Drug Store.
