Need water? Got water!
Over $2 million in improvements have been made to the Webster City Water Treatment Plant in the past year. Those improvements were unveiled to the public during an open house on August 4th.
Major upgrades were completed on the low & high service pumps, primer pump, supplemental backwash valve, filters, clarifier and control room system. Also completed in the past 12-months was the capping of an old well and the digging of a new well at a cost of $3.1 million.
The water plant averages a daily flow of 800,000 gallons, but has a maximum capacity of over 3 million gallons per day. That is a daily surplus of approximately 2.2 million gallons!
The Webster City Water Treatment Plant is positioned to deliver high quality water to residents and commercial & industrial customers well into the future!
